Default We Have A Winner: Habitat For Humanity!!

It's been three weeks now and after a pretty good response our Pick-A-Charity Polls are now closed!

Many fine charities were included in these polls and things were fairly close.. but in the end Habitat for Humanity prevailed with 16 votes!

Here are the final results:

Code:
Habitat for Humanity 16 American Cancer Society 14 Camp Quality 14 The Hunger Project 13 The Rainforest Alliance 12 St. Jude's Children's Hospital 11 American Heart Association 8 MS Foundation 8 The Shriners Hospital 7 Bread for Kid - Children of Ecuador Foundation 7 Autism Society of America 5 PETA 2

It's been a great project and quite a success, with a total of $1418.11 in donations and investment earnings to show for our combined efforts. I would like to say that everyone involved deserves a warm feeling of pride and a pat on the back for being part of such a worthy endeavour. It feels great to do something so selfless in an area such as HYIPs where scamming others is such a common thing. Talk about turning lemons into lemonade!!

It just goes to show that there are still plenty of people who feel that helping others is a far better thing than simply helping ourselves. My baboon hat's off to each and every one of you, and special thanks to our visionary admins Geoffrey and Ed for their unwavering support of this project. Couldn't have pulled it off without you guys!!!

And now, I'm off to make the donation.. WHEEEE!!!!

Fantastic! All were indeed worthy causes, with Habitat for Humanity just about getting those extra votes that mattered. They will benefit to the tune of 1,418.11.

I`d like to reiterate Zimbu`s sentiments, that everyone should feel proud of themselves for their own individual efforts in this very worthwhile project. The CPP has taken a lot of effort and forward planning on Zimbu`s part, and many thanks also to all you members who have contributed your ideas and of course your financial contributions with such unselfishness.
