Finally, our 2 new folders are being well subscribed to. Computer Security is vital, so what suggestions, tips, and ideas are being posted to help members remain as secure as possible when using their computers? There`s a `must read` thread talking about the importance of having effective passwords with lots of sound advice. Also, we are finding the e-Currencies, DX, Exchangers folder is gaining a lot of interest as members try to find the answers to their questions on some of those subjects.

We normally wouldn`t send you a Newsletter so soon after the last one, but we felt that members should be aware of some changes we`ve made with regard to posting in some of the folders.
Before we get on to that, I just want to congratulate Zimbu for reaching 600 posts in one of our current contests. Zimbu receives $50, and whoever comes in 2nd and 3rd will win $30 and $20 respectively.
We`ve now added a Filipino language folder which should get plenty of use for all our members from the Philippines. So, we now have two non-English language folders, Spanish and Filipino.
A poll has been set up in the `About This Forum` folder asking members to vote on whether they would like to see a `Benefactoring` folder here in the forum. Why not visit and let us know what you think?
Back to the changes I mentioned at the beginning. We felt that too much emphasis was being placed on the promoting of programs, rather than discussion of both newer, and more established ones. Finding good, long-term paying HYIPs, Cyclers, Autosurfs doesn`t get any easier, and that`s what we wanted to address.
Up until now, the folders we have set aside for such discussions have allowed for the member making the first post in a thread to place a referral link in the text itself. Unfortunately though we`ve found that this has simply resulted in many of the threads being nothing more than an additional form of advertising. That was never the aim behind it, so the changes from now on are as follows:-
"Would all members please note the following changes made regarding this folder as from now-
Updated rules:
The HYIP, Autosurf, Cycler, and MLM folders will from here on out be referral link free. The format will continue where members are allowed to post new threads if a thread is not already created for the program (without referral links). Titles should be only the name of the program. This goes for all the Sections."
Signatures will still of course be able to contain referral links (up to 3 lines and 5 links)
We obviously recognize the need for members to advertise which is why we now allow 2 posts a day in the Ads folder rather than just the one as it was before.
We trust that our members will readily embrace these adjustments and that all members will benefit even further from being part of The HYIPForum community.

If you`ve visited us recently you`ll have no doubt noticed a couple of new folders which we set up for The Community Portfolio Project.
One of our Moderators, Zimbu, is looking after this project in which we want as many members as possible to take part. In simple terms we want to raise some money in order to make some investments into the programs of your choice, which will, after 6 months, be donated to a worthy cause which again the members will decide on. We are proud to be associated with this project which we feel will further build our `community spirit` and will ultimately benefit a charity. Please take a look on your next visit and see if you can help in some way.
In connection with the above we are running a Trivia Quiz, in which cash prizes are being offered to the weekly winners, and at the same time an equal donation is made to the CPP.

We now have 2,385 members here at The HYIPForum, BUT, how many will we have on the last day of November? That`s the challenge in our latest competition. There`s prize money on offer for our Winner, 2nd place, and 3rd placed members who get closest to estimating the forum`s membership on November 30th. This is one that ALL members can take a shot at, so why not have a go?
Have you taken a look at our NEW folders recently? A number of programs aren`t paying out for whatever reason, so they are still `alive` so not yet ready for the `Scam/Closed` folder. With that in mind we`ve started the `Watching & Waiting` folder which is where we are placing those programs. This will enable members to keep an eye on developments.
The Community Portfolio Project is gaining a lot of publicity recently. One of our moderators, Zimbu, started this project up after thinking of ways to make the forum more of a `community` with the members making the decisions on how to invest, who to deposit funds with etc. This is with a view to helping out a worthy cause after a 6 month period of investing. Zimbu`s initial contribution of $50, which he gave out of his winnings in one of our recent contests, has now risen to over $400 in just a matter of a few weeks. Our thanks to him, along with the very generous donations from some of our members, and program Admins, who`ve well and truly gotten into the spirit of things.

Our Longer-Term paying programs continue to do well, which ones in particular get our members` votes? All those on the list have been around and paying for a minimum of six months, most for much longer.
It`s that time of year again leading up to the holiday scam season. Read about some of the suggestions which have been made to avoid the Xmas scammers.
What have Fast Market, Aussie Earners, YMMSS all got in common? They are all in our `Watching and Waiting` folder as we look to see what`s going to eventually happen with these problematic programs which just don`t seem to be able to get their acts together.
Two of the ones which took many by surprise were Dornstetten Kredit, and GCISurf. The latter one`s admin apparently even boasting of the fact that he and his accomplises took the members for a ride and set the whole thing up as a scam from the outset.
If you`ve seen the latest from Feeder Fund you`ll have read that a new addition has recently been made, called The Leopard Fund. What do we know about TLF? Now we`ve set up a Due Diligence folder this program is under some discussion, and you`ll see a link to a very informative post made by the Admin of The Leopard Fund answering some of the queries which have been made about his program.
New folders have been set up for some of our more heavily discussed and popular programs, such as 50cent2surf and Dad`n Daves.

The HYIPForum has seen a rapid expansion in membership numbers in recent weeks, and first of all we`d like to give a warm welcome to all our new members.
The 12dailypro folder in particular is proving to be very active, and we`re pleased to see so many of you participating in the discussions there.
We felt we wanted to strike a balance between allowing a greater flexibilty in signatures, yet still maintaining a common sense approach to what is acceptable. With this in mind we`ve made a change to the guidelines relating to signatures. We`ve also made a second change regarding the Advertising Folder.
Here are the new rules pertaining to both of these, which will be found in the General Forum rules at the top of the forum:-

Signature Rules:
1 - Signatures may be no longer than 5 lines in length, INCLUDING SPACES and BLANK LINES, with a maximum of 6 links
2 - Signatures may only be typed in the normal sized font (This is size 2. NO large fonts) or if you prefer the smaller No.1 size font.
3 - No banners ads or image ads are allowed to be included in your signatures, with the exception of smileys. If the use of smilies takes up more space than the permitted space for 5 lines then your signatures will be amended/deleted. It`s up to members to use discretion if using any smilies so that they don`t cause height problems.
4 - Bold, italic and coloring fonts are allowed in the signature
Special note on the Advertising Folder:
We actively support members` participation in using the Advertising Folder. We feel it`s important, however, to make a clear distinction between our `Discussion` folders, and the `Advertising` folder. So, we will now be locking all threads once an Advertisement has been posted. This means that no more `bumping` of threads can take place, sometimes by members replying with `paid me` posts, or a new piece of information. We want to give ALL members the opportunity to get their advertisements seen, and we think that by not allowing reply posts it makes it a more level playing field for all.
Threads may be repeated once the previous one falls off the second page.
So, if you want your program to be discussed then please post in the appropriate folder, HYIPs, Autosurfs and so on. If you merely wish to promote a program then continue to post in the Advertising folder, but please ensure that you have full information in the post as you won`t be able to return to reply to it, though you may still edit it.
We wish to thank you for your continued support, and hope that you`ll agree that the changes we`ve announced will benefit the majority of our members.
