I am not sure if some of you will remember me. Some years ago, I was active in the HYIP area as well as in the autosurf area. ( who remembers the 12dailypro debacle? ) It was a nice time, I had a lot of fun and in several programs I had a nice downline also.

However since this debacle with Stormpay and 12dailypro I lost my faith a bit and I decided to let it rest.

It became clear to me that HYIP and Autosurf mainly where ( and are) a kind of gamble games and therefore after a while I started looking for other ways to make money online. It should be something which was at least as funny as the previous activities, it should be something I could learn from and of course earn from.

Therefore I have started to explore the world of affiliate marketing and I got involved with Clickbank and 1stpromotion.

I am starting this business in the same way as I used to start in autosurf and Hyip and therefor I am posting this thread to ask you, what your experiences are in this field? How many people on this forum are actualy involved with this kind of marketing business? Are there any special guidelines to share for example? In the past, I received a lot of help using these forums and frankly, I provided help to those new in the HIYP world.

Anyway I am happy to be back and I think I have found a good opportunity to start a new online business. In the past I made money and lost some of it again. Now I earn money and I do not have to be afraid anymore some HYIP or autosurf program will run with my profits.

Yes, I remember it well, in fact, following updates to see how much people will get back after received bleeds the funds down to penny on the dollar level. I don't blame you for taking a break, tough to make money online when everyone seems to be a crook. lol

I wish you much success with ClickBank. I've made money with ClickBank, but like all online marketing, it gets more difficult every year. If you have a great niche product, it can work, so I wish you success in your re-entry into online marketing forum.

Well, I decided to try other methods than some years ago. Clickbank was recommended on many sites and the concept about affiliation is a good one.

Now, as you are saying in your reply also, it seems to be tough and not so easy.

Therefore I have focussed my success on the longer term. I am not going to promote any of the products very agressively ( is that an english word??) and I am not trying to force people to any of my websites until I have full knowledge about the business.

So, I started to do what I did not do in the past: purchasing some products myself and learn from them. I am not going to promote here but for example, I have purchased this Super Affiliates Handbook, an e-book which contains about 236 pages of information. I am reading it now and based on what I learn I am building this business in a professional way. For as far as I have read the book I sense one contradictio in terminis with your above statement.

You say: it becomes more difficult year after year. In this book they say the opposit since the internet is a world-wide marketplace with millions of people and millions types of interests. For sure there is something which will work out for anybody.

So to conclude: it is a matter of having the strength and faith to go on in this business, moreover you must be willing to invest. Not only in money ( because as an affiliate you do not invest much at all) but investing in time and efforts.

Well, I am going to have fun in building this new business for myself

ClickBank is definitely a great moneymaker. Much better than crazy HYIPs or AutoSurfs. It only works if you can become a solid marketer, though, and that requires knowledge and experience. I found that knowledge and experience by joining a group of successful affiliate marketers who provide tools, coaching and lots of support.
