It`s coming up to THAT time of year again. Even more than the usual amount of scammers lurk the Internet and create their own money making machines.
So, how can you recognise those programs which are definitely here only for the short term, with the only aim to make their owners, not members, rich?
Suggest any tips you have to help protect others.
Let`s start with this one, obvious yes, but not to the unwary who see this as a time to `earn` some extra money.
How about a program with the name `Merry Xmas` - www.merryxmas.com (doesn`t exist right now, but...)
Bit of a giveaway, but no one wants to join a program with a name like that after the New Year, so, how long can it be expected to run? Think about it.
And, how about some of these `monitors` which make good bedfellows with HYIPs? The fact that some monitor site admins repeatedly, frequently, post their `paids` in program threads borders on the ridiculous, and seems a good sign that there`s something in it for them.
By `something in it` such things as the first to be paid out, particularly in a time of difficulty, a free share of the program - say, $10 or $20 worth of...`investment` and so on.
To me, when monitors cheerlead a program it`s a red flag.
Well I wouldn't know anything about that.
Speaking from my 'other' (monitoring) forum, we like controversy and debate, kind of like 'let's see how long this one will last'.... and we actively seek to get the admins involved to answer questions and dance to the music if we are hearning a pom-pom beat.
A biased monitor is just as bad as a scammer, maybe worse.
(Has anyone noticed how many monitors there are these days?) The numbers alone indicate to me they are surviving on the back end.
Holiday scammers are doing well this year I'd say, since programs are dropping all around. I have to wonder if any of the ones starting now intend to go beyond New Years?
The trick to not loose out during christmas, is not join the *crap*
I withdrew in 2 programs this month, paid in both, both are years old now and they have no intention of dying. I bought a new videogame with the withdrawals I made.
There's always "crap" to join, just more if it during the holidays. Next is to beware of those programs that are still running in order to pay the credit card bills.
