Sorry For The Forum Problems

Just to say sorry for the downtime with the forum over the past few days or more.

We`ve been subject to a big DDoS attack, similar to that experienced by other similar-type forums.

Hopefully this won`t last too much longer, it`s just a case of wait and see I reckon.

I can`t always get in to post, and this is the first time today I`ve been able to do so relatively easily.

Well, the situation is still not fully resolved. Some members are able to access the board ok, others not so easily, though I think things look to be getting back to somewhere near normal.

Feedback on how you are finding accessing the forum would be appreciated.

Gday Geoff an email i found today from this forum its a few days old (Oct 7, 2007 1:27 PM) but may be of interest along with someone trying to hack my pc .Sorry i didnt notice it earlier, i rarely use that email account.

wow so does that implicate my presence ?

somehow i feel that ip will be a proxy , cant say i have bothered to look into it.

los that ip's been used for spam the last few days. i couldn't ban him b/c the forum's been sluggish for me.

The forum seems to be working ok from France.
