There is a major movement that we at ASA have become aware of. I have been attacked (emails...attachments with viruses...major spam...emails w/ threats)..
Asa was attacked yesterday...and the threat is to take down the major sites.
nowdollar, alertpaypro, autosurfingpros...are among some of the ones being attacked bad now...this also included total rune...(although they have a second party after them)...
We are trying to gain knowledge of locations...etc..
when ramesh had that bandwidth problem last week..he sent me a list of IP log ins that were unusual...new...excessive, etc...
and I gave him traces so he could find out where they were.
I am hoping to do this with ASA now...
just dont panic if one of them is down for a bit...
well...from what we are gathering at ASA..this is a high level attack. I have found some connection with the SEC...and the group Charis Johnson is working with. Its very disturbing..
Rob Ross from APP...ASP...kind of 'dared' anyone to bring him down...he probably has the best security out there..
so, I think he is getting what he asked for..
anyone connected to him at ALL is getting attacked.
My inbox is utterly trashed w/ spam...virus attachments...
one linked back to the admins from 16dailysurf...so, that pissed me off.
I even had a threat emailed to me that 'this is just the beginning'..so, I am on a warpath...
Well be careful, wouldn't want you to lose your computer to some crazy virus. Anyone who "dares" people to do something to them is just asking for trouble. If it had been me with the top notch security, i would have never made it known the way he seems to have.
You seem to know this stuff pretty darn well, so we can expect them to do no harm to ya!
Wouldn't the SEC get themselves into trouble by attacking people with virus's? Are you sure they have something to do with it?

but...there are some connections to the org charis is cooperating with (internet scams section)...and whats going on...and we know THEY relate/cooperate with the SEC.
What is happening to ME isnt the SEC...but, I think this sudden and organized attack on major progs one at a time...is more than a coincidence.
Nowdollar is a part of a hosting company who hosts major banks...its top notch...and they are down..the proxy is down...
This takes money...and high level planning...
this is no ordinary individual...

so if charis or the sec are behind the ddos will these websites be able to press charges against them for performing illegal attacks? oh, btw, app is back up!
We were hit hard early this morning. All three sites we operate. For some reason they gave up on us & went after 24DP, APP, ASP & Nowdollar. 24DP, we woke Will up at 6:30am this morning & he was able make some adjustments in time.
I believe what transpired today started a shockwave. I heard that the several hosting companies have been in contact with US intelligence agencies since very large US banks were hosted by one of these companies. Now they have the intelligence communities hunting them down. That was a stupid move for them to attack Verio with 2 million hits per second. You do not get away with that with all those banks hosted there.
